Rasmei Kampuchea Co., Ltd.
Rasmei Kampuchea Co., Ltd. operates of Rasmei Kampuchea. It was founded by Pen Samithi, who remained its editor-in-chief until he died in 2015. Before belonging to Say Chhum, it was owned by Theng Bunma, who once was named the “richest and most politically-influential businessman” in Cambodia. The company was registered at the Ministry of Commerce in 2011, six years after its shares were transferred from the business tycoon Theng Bunma to Say Chhum, the president of the Senate and Vice President of Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), through a Prakas of ministry of information in 2005.
